Business Development Representative

At Programmads we have ambitious growth objectives, that’s why we are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Business Development Representative with experience selling marketing technology, SaaS products and/or other professional tech-based services to enterprise brands and/or agencies. 

In this role you’ll be part of our commercial team, helping the company to grow, and link us with even more organisations. You will be expected to provide a consultative experience to customers, deep-diving into business needs and challenges, then develop strategic and technical solutions that can effectively address client requirements.

You will be responsible for driving growth in existing and new client relationships – navigating upsell/cross-sell opportunities as well as managing the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting, nurturing lead opportunities to contract negotiation, and deal closure.

Your skills

  • Native speaker (language depending on market: Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France & Belgium) with strong communication skills
  • 7 to 10 years of experience working in strategic account growth and/or new business sales
  • You have a passion for digital marketing, forging commercial relationships and the thrill of closing a deal
  • You have strong local industry relationships and an extensive network within digital media agencies
  • A solid knowledge and/or understanding of the Google 360 suite, Amazon Adtech or other programmatic- and web analytics tools is a plus
  • Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid start-up environment as well as a desire to directly influence the company’s growth trajectory
  • Strong verbal, visual and written communication skills
  • Be capable of working autonomously with ambitious targets
  • Be well-organised & meticulous
  • Be a problem-solver & a decision maker for clients with continuously changing needs

Responsabilities

  • Reporting into the Business Development Director, you will own your sales pipelines and all opportunities in your portfolio
  • Creating new opportunities within the sales pipeline
  • Targeting new business opportunities via phone, email, events or other channels
  • Creating targeting lists, messaging, and sequences
  • Taking sales from prospecting to close, both for outbound sales efforts and inbound referrals/leads
  • Accountable for strategic account planning and customer relationship management
  • Researching new opportunities, trends and verticals
  • Help build new marketing and pitch material

Salary Range

  • Total gross salary package > €100K per year, will be adapted based on fit and experience
  • Combination of fixed and variable compensation
